BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION

PAYMENT OF ACCOUNT
All cheques should be made payable to Mrs D Woolley. Bank transfer payment also available. A 10% non returnable deposit is required to secure booking. The balance plus £100 security deposit, is payable 4 weeks before your stay.
The security deposit will be returned within two weeks of your departure subject to satisfactory property inspection and return of the keys. If extra cleaning is required (above normal clean) or breakages replaced, some of the security deposit may be retained to cover these costs.
HOLIDAY CANCELLATION AND INSURANCE
If a cancellation is made more than 4 weeks prior to arrival date the non refundable deposit is retained. If cancellation occurs within four weeks of due date of arrival the tenant is liable for the full payment of the account. However, if we are able to re-let then we will refund you the balance of rent (less the deposit) and the security deposit less a further admin fee of £50. We would recommend that you consider taking out holiday insurance to cover for this possible loss.
OCCUPATION
The property is rented from FRIDAY to FRIDAY unless otherwise agreed with the owner (and only possible in the low season). Lets of shorter than a week may be considered. Entry to the properties is after 4.00 p.m. and they must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure. Keys shall be posted to the tenant’s home address at least a week before rental begins, along with directions as to how to get there. Keys should be returned to the owner in the stamped addressed envelope provided at time of key delivery.
COMPLETING THE BOOKING FORM
Please make sure that you fill in all the details on the form, including your name and address and the and the number of people in your party . Please also sign the booking form. The number of tenants accommodated must not exceed the number that the property sleeps.
CLEANING
It is a condition of the let that the tenant leaves the property clean and tidy for the next incoming tenant. At the end of rental we will change bedding and linen and vacuum the property however if the property is left in an untidy and dirty condition we reserve the right to take the extra cost of a full clean from the security deposit to make the property suitable for next tenant.
BREAKAGES
Tenant should endeavour to replace any items that have been damaged or broken. If this proves difficult cost of replacement will be deducted from the security deposit.
